THE FEED YOUR CAREER REWARDS CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
CONTEST OVERVIEW
FEED YOUR CAREER is an online point-based rewards program where members can accrue points by visiting online career resources and earn prizes. Prizes are awarded to program members when they reach specific point levels.
CONTEST ELIGIBILITY
The FEED YOUR CAREER REWARDS Contest (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old. This Contest is void outside of the United States, in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. Military installations in foreign countries, all other U.S. territories and possessions, and wherever else restricted or prohibited by law. This Contest sponsored by FEED YOUR CAREER LLC. Employees, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives of Sponsor and their immediate family members and those living in their household, and each person or entity connected with the production, administration or judging of the Contest, and each parent company, affiliate, subsidiary, agent and representative of any aforementioned entity are not eligible.
CONTEST PERIOD
The Rewards period begins Monday, February 8th, 2010 at 5 PM. (Pacific Daylight Time ["PDT"]) ends at 11:59 p.m. (PDT) on May 31st, 2010. (“Contest Period”). ALL CONTEST ENTRANTS MUST ACCRUE THEIR POINT VALUES DURING THE CONTEST ENTRY PERIOD. All rewards points must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. (PDT) on May 31st, 2010 according to the computer time on FeedYourCareer.com’s contest server. No hand delivered, U.S. Mail delivered, or other delivery methods, will be accepted. Your Submission must comply with the Rewards Program Guidelines outlined below. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify false submissions or submissions suspected of being false.
HOW TO ENTER
As the Contest entrant (“Entrant”) you must go to http://www.feedyourcareer.com/rewards/join.asp to access the rewards program join form. If you are currently not a user at FeedYourCareer.com, you will be required to complete a user registration form before being able to join the rewards program. Once you have joined the Rewards program, you may opt-out of the contest at anytime by visiting: http://www.feedyourcareer.com/my_rewards.asp . Entrant (“Rewards Member”) must follow program rules provided in (“Rewards Program Guidelines”). LIMIT ONE REWARDS PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP PER EMAIL ADDRESS.
CONTEST “REWARDS PROGRAM” GUIDELINES
In addition to the other terms contained in these Official Rules, the following Rewards Program Guidelines also apply:
Participation in the Rewards Program is open to any Feed Your Career registered users and is voluntary. A Feed Your Career member is allowed only one time to be a Rewards Program grand prize winner - either through the grand prize drawing or the first to get to the grand prize point level. It is an opt-in program for registered Feed Your Career users. Participation is not required for Feed Your Career registered users to use any area of the website.
Rewards Program users earn points by completing career-related tasks on the Feed Your Career website. The following is a table with points values, career resource, number of times the career resource can be completed to be contributed to Rewards Program total points (called “entries”). The points value for an activity ranges from 50 to 500 points and the number of times a career resource can be completed to contribute to the Rewards Program total points (called " entries") varies from 1 to 18. The exact values for the Rewards Program can be obtained at any time by going to: http://www.feedyourcareer.com/my_rewards.asp.

Users may earn points towards a total value for them as long as the points earned are equal to or less than the period maximum number of points redeemable. All the time periods are defined on http://www.feedyourcareer.com/rewards/my_rewards.asp. Feed Your Career can at any time during the program increase the period maximum point value. An email will be sent out to Reward Program participants within 24 hours to notify them of any change in the period maximum point value. Additionally, there is a daily maximum number of points accrual allowed. The daily max is 350 points.
A contestant’s current point total is displayed at all times at the top of http://www.feedyourcareer.com/rewards/my_rewards.asp and displayed at the top of pages once they are logged in to their career manager account. Contestants ‘ last name and first initial that are in the top 5 leading value positions at any time during the contest will be posted on the leader board visible throughout the site.
Prizes are awarded to participants for reaching specific point levels or for reaching a specific point level first. Following is a breakdown of the awarding of prizes and point levels in order to qualify.

PRIZES AWARDATION
Subject to verification of eligibility, prizes will be awarded when entrants reach the following point levels accordingly:
1500 points earned – ALL entrants receive via download eBook “Elevator Speech”
5000 points earned – first 10 entrants verified receive $5 Starbucks gift cards mailed via USPS. Points of potential winners verified in 3 business days – final winners sent Starbucks gift card via first class USPS mail within 3 business days after verification.
10,000–first entrant verified receives $75 Gift Card to be used towards Helm Publishing or Becky Dorner & Associates websites. Points of potential winners will be verified in 5 business days – final winner sent $75 Gift Card via first class USPS mail within 5 business days after verification. Additionally, all entrants that reach the 10,000 point level by close of contest on May 31st, 11:59pm (PDT) as determined by Feed Your Career hosting server’s and are verified will be entered into a drawing for a second Grand Prize. The winner of the first entrant to reach the 10,000 point level Grand Prize is not eligible for the Grand Prize drawing. Verification of those eligible for drawing will be completed within two weeks of program ending. Drawing to be held in following 3 business days and winner notified in following 2 business days. Gift cards mailed via first class USPS mail within 5 business days of being notified. Gift cards have 6 month expiration date from date of issuance. Winners must contact Helm Publishing or Becky Dorner & Associates websites. o use gift card toward selected services within this six month period and setup redeeming the $75 of services. Feed Your Career, LLC does not guarantee any satisfaction level of products with purchases made using gift card at Helm Publishing or Becky Dorner & Associates websites.
GENERAL LIMITATIONS FOR PRIZES
All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion and exact prize details will be provided at time of Selected Contestants’ notification. All taxes (if applicable) are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize and other prize recipient Contestants. Selected Contestants are not entitled to any surplus between actual retail value of the prizes listed under Prizes section (“Prizes”) and stated ARV, if any, and any difference between stated ARV and actual value of the Prizes will not be awarded. No substitution, transfer, or cash redemption of Prizes allowed. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value should any of the advertised Prizes becomes unavailable for any reason. Applicable Prizes shall only be delivered by U.S. Mail or courier to an address in the United States. Allow 2-4 weeks for delivery/fulfillment of the Prizes to the address provided by Selected Contestant at the time of Selected Contestant’s Notification. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize or prize component(s) once in the possession or control of the prize recipient. Prizes are copyrighted and/or trademarked from their respected companies and inclusion of a specific brand does not constitutes that's brands direct endorsement of the FYC website or Rewards Program.
CONDITIONS
This Contest is void outside the U.S. and where prohibited or restricted by law, and is subject to applicable federal, state provincial and local laws. By participating, Contestants agree: (i) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding; and (ii) to waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Contest or these Official Rules, except where prohibited by law. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of Selected Contestants and other prize winning contestants, and Selected Contestants and other prize winning contestants may be issued an IRS Form 1099 for any awarded prize. By participating, all Contestants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor together with its respective directors, employees, officers, licensees, licensors and agents, and respective advertising and promotion entities and any person or entity associated with the production, judging, or administration of the Contest, (collectively, the “Releasees”) from and against any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes in the Contest, or their participation in the Contest, or their participation in any Contest or prize related activity, or any travel related to the Contest or any travel for any prize-related activity. Selected Contestants further acknowledge that Releasees have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize or the Contest. All warranties are hereby disclaimed, and the Selected Contestants and other prize winning contestants will accept the prizes "as is".
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Contestant they find to be violating these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Contest, in its sole discretion, or due to circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters. Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the Contest should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control, corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Contest. Sponsor may prohibit a contestant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines such contestant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, plagiarizing, engaging in any deception, or any other unfair playing practices of intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, undermine or harass any other players or Sponsor representatives. The internal laws of the State of Texas will govern disputes regarding these Official Rules and/or this Contest. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
Releasees shall not be liable to contestants for failure to supply any prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulations(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, threatened terrorist acts, terrorist acts, air raid, blackout, act of public enemy, earthquake, war (declared or undeclared), fire, flood, epidemic, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other similar or dissimilar cause beyond any of the Releasees’ control. Sponsor is not responsible for: (a) lost, late, misdirected, undeliverable, incomplete or indecipherable entries due to system errors or failures, or faulty transmissions or other telecommunications malfunctions and/or entries; (b) technical failures of any kinds; (c) failures of any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (d) unauthorized human and/or mechanical intervention in any part of the submission process or the Contest; (e) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (f) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from any contestant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
PRIVACY
All personal information collected by Sponsor will be used for administration of the Contest. In addition, Contestants may receive email correspondence from, or on behalf of Sponsor subject to Sponsor privacy policy. Emails for contestants are not shared with any third parties. Sponsor uses reasonable commercial efforts to comply with Federal CAN-SPAM guidelines, and Contestants may subsequently opt-out of receiving further emails by following the opt-out instructions contained in the email. Please refer to Sponsor’s privacy policy located at http://www.feedyourcareer.com/credits/privacy.asp for important information regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information by Sponsor.
DIGITAL MILLENNIUM COPYRIGHT ACT. Sponsor’s policy is to respond to notices of alleged infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). Copyright-infringing materials found on Sponsor’s websites can be identified and removed via Sponsor’s DMCA compliance process listed below.
